TASN certification is now online. Here’s how to get started.

From serving students in a cafeteria to leading a district child nutrition program, your school nutrition work takes skill. TASN certification recognizes your professional learning, and new applications, renewals and requests for a higher level should now be completed online. There is no longer an application to print or paperwork to mail!
- Make sure your TASN membership is active.
- Visit the TASN Certification Program page.
- Review the certification handbook for the requirements at your level.
- Gather your training records and other required documents before opening the form.
- Apply or renew using our online application.
Your application is complete once you submit the form and payment. Its status will then show as Pending Review. Review typically takes two to three weeks. You do not need to submit the form again or mail or email duplicate documents while you wait; TASN will send an approval email when the review is complete.
Once approved, your certification information will appear on your TASN membership card, along with your membership information. This card serves as proof of both; TASN no longer issues a separate certification certificate.
