TASN Advocacy

TASN engages in advocacy efforts at the national, state, and local levels to support legislation and policies that promote the health and well-being of students through improved nutrition. We have a dedicated Public Policy & Legislation Chair and coordinate with the School Nutrition Association to provide events and other advocacy opportunities.

2025 TASN Legislative Action Day (LAD)
The TASN Public Policy & Legislative Committee are hard at work planning a day during the 2025 session for TASN members to visit legislators at the State Capitol. This will be a day to cultivate member relationships and advocate for what is near and dear to our hearts, child nutrition. Check this page for more information in the coming months.
