Texas Fruit & Vegetable Day
The first Friday in April is designated Texas Fruit and Vegetable Day by the Texas Legislature. TASN supports TDA in the effort to encourage students to consume more fruits and vegetables, and to help celebrate the second annual Texas Fruit and Vegetable Day, we're offering a contest. We are looking for the district with the most creative celebration featuring the highest impact on student engagement while showcasing Texas Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Day on April 4.
While we welcome everyone to become members of TASN, this contest is open to all Texas school districts. Please read through the guidelines below and apply using the button at the bottom of the page!
